You’d better make arrangements in advance, and here is why.
The amazing beauty of Li Cossi beach, which is located in a small bay, can only be reached on foot, along a small mountain path, from which you can enjoy breathtaking views of bizarrely shaped rocks and the sea. If walking doesn’t inspire you, take a water taxi. It will take you to beaches and bays that cannot be reached other than by sea.
In summer, the Costa Paradiso rings with the sounds of all languages – many people come here. Michelangelo Antonioni and Monica Vitti were among the first visitors to the coast, and now their villa Le Cupole is considered a cultural treasure of Italy. Since then, the demand for villas and hotels on the Costa Paradiso has only been growing, because everyone wants to experience the wonders of the coastal paradise created by Mother Nature.
But the residents of the Costa Paradiso have also made their contribution – the restaurants here offer freshly caught fish, and in the morning the streets are filled with the aroma of freshly baked bread. The gelaterias serve delicious ice cream, and local winemakers compete in production of tart wines.
This coast is appreciated by sports and yachting enthusiasts for the opportunity to rent a small boat, a luxury yacht, and diving equipment. There is even a scuba diving school here. Though, it is no wonder! Guests of the Costa Paradiso are attracted to the depths of the sea, whose color changes from sky blue to emerald depending on the time of day, and to pink rocks that seem to have been sculpted by the wind, and to the views of the sun setting on the horizon. They say these are the best sunsets in Sardinia. You are most welcome to check it out for yourself.
